It's beginning to look a lot like...winter still.

So the Arbez family has been busy,  We went and saw the Easter Bunny, have been to the dentist for the 1st time, and have been playing outside a ton. I've also been taking them to as many preschool programs that the Metro parks offer as I can. I try to take them to our local library for preschool story time on Wednesday mornings. In addition to that they are still going to "school" on Thursdays and have a tumbling class on Fridays. Makes for a busy but fun week!

The girls had their 1st dentist appts a couple of weeks ago. They did well. Lindsay was getting a little tired of waiting for Olivia to finish up, but overall they did good. Lindsay has 3 small cavities, but they aren't going to treat them unless they get worse, and the dentist gave me some flouride gel for each of them to use once a day. Olivia wouldn't cooperate for X-Rays, so we don't know about cavities, but we are going to use the gel for her as well. I just went this week, and I didn't have any problems. I was pretty happy about that since it's been about 6 years since my last cleaning.

The girls have finished up their swimming lessons, don't think my girls are going to be little fish after all. They just weren't really into it and didn't really try at all, so we are taking a long break. I still plan on getting them into the pool this summer, so maybe next fall they will be ready to try again.  I signed them up for a tumbling/gymnastics class, and they have been going to that for about 4 weeks. They have next week off for spring break, but they have 2 more sessions after that, and are begging me to put them into ballet classes! Cracks me up, but I am determined to find a ballet class for them to try.

We have also had a ton of snow recently, 2+  feet to be exact. We also had another inch of snow last night, after having some pretty nice warm weather.  My daffodils don't know what to do, they are starting to open, but are getting frozen and wilted by the rain and snow. I think we are all very tired of snow and ready for spring! I am ready for flowers and some sun!

Tomorrow we are going to the Shriner's Circus, should be a good time. We are sitting with some friends and their kids, so will be exciting. The girls are finally getting old enough to start taking them to events and activities that require a longer attention span.

My dad seems to be doing well. Taking his chemo treatments in stride, better than any of use had expected. He is officially half way through and doing amazing! He looks great and he told me the other day that he has more energy than ever! :)

Off to clean the kitchen and bathrooms while the girls are napping and/or having quiet time. They are getting so close to skipping naps all together, not ready for that quite yet! :)
